Jesus constantly sought the will of His Father through prayer. Jesus went alone to pray to discern His Father's will.
Despite all the busyness in church life, clamouring for our attention. We need to remain tuned in to God in prayer in order to discern His will, which may involve us letting go of some of that busyness, being courageous to step out in a different direction.
Jesus spent time with God, and when He discerned His Father’s will, He was willing to take the unpopular steps and decisions as He sought to go God’s way – listening to the still, small voice.
