St Luke’s News for June is out featuring news from our mission partners Clive and Andrea in Nepal following the recent devastating earthquakes there.

One of our wardens, Melanie Sills, rewrites a famous theme song following some new recruits to our building team and there’s a plea from the team for volunteers to “finish the job” that was started 10 years ago when we built our new premises.

Our vicar, Dave Middlebrook, introduces our new sermon series starting this month, Jesus the Evangelist, loosely based on the book by Robin Gamble of the same name. Dave also challenges us to continue to be engaged with politics post the General Election as agents in Christ’s transforming of our lives, our society and His creation.

Anne Middlebrook provides her reflections on the New Wine leadership conference that some staff and congregation attended in May on the theme of ‘Love and Unity’.
